Markets are an excellent opportunity to exchange goods or services for Calgary Dollars, meet other members of the Calgary Dollars Community, or sign up to become a new member. It’s here where you can buy, sell, trade, make new friends, and be connected to a community that is trying to make a difference.
If you’re a business or an individual that is interested is being part of the Calgary Dollars community, come and sell your items as a vendor for the Market. Being a vendor is free, and if you book a table ahead, you get some C$ to start using them then and there. Contact us to book.
Meals
Our Markets also have food service, where you can purchase healthy home-made style meals in C$. Why spend time and money at home when you can enjoy a great meal in community and spend your C$! Each Market will be a space for participants / vendors to buy and sell, as well as create community through food. Come and join us for this fun and filling experience.
Time & Location
Calgary Dollars Markets take place on the second Monday of every month from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Markets are held in Bow Cliff Seniors at the Spruce Cliff Community Centre at 608 Poplar Road SW Calgary (near Westbrook Mall and next to Shaganappi Golf Course). Bus Routes 53 and 17 stop by the centre. See more bus & cycle info below.

Transit & Bicycle Directions to the Markets
Are you a transit rider or a cyclist who is wondering how to get to the C$ Markets?
TRANSIT DIRECTIONS TO SPRUCE CLIFF (608 Poplar Road SW)
LRT: From the downtown core, take a 69Street train heading West, for 4 stations, getting off at the Westbrook LRT station. Exit to the North, and walk across the parking lot to Bow Trail. Cross Bow Trail along 33ST SW which turns into Spruce Drive SW heading north, until you come across a park on the left side. There is a white community centre in the park, across from a strip mall. This is Bow Cliff Seniors (about a 10 min walk). If you want to take a bus closer, take the #93 from Westbrook Station north along Spruce Drive to the community centre.
#6: From downtown, travel west along 17 Ave SW and along 26 Ave SW to Westbrook Mall / Station. Walk across Bow Trail along 33ST SW which turns into Spruce Drive SW heading north, until you come across a park on the left side. There is a white community centre in the park, across from a strip mall. This is Bow Cliff Seniors (about a 10 min walk). If you want to take a bus closer, take the #93 from Westbrook Station north along Spruce Drive to the community centre.
#93: Take the bus East along Richmond and then 45 ST SW north into the Spruce Cliff community; get off at the white community centre in the park, across from a strip mall. This is Bow Cliff Seniors.
CYCLE PATHWAY DIRECTIONS TO SPRUCE CLIFF
The pathway to Bow Cliff Seniors from downtown is accessed from the southside Bow River pathway system, west of the Crowchild bridge. 0.5 km west of the Crowchild bridge, the pathway crosses the CPR rail tracks. Once across the tracks, follow the dirt path to the right which winds up the hill for 2 km. It winds up and around (and is a bit steep!). Where the dirt path ends cyclists enter the street adjacent to Poplar Road where the Spruce Cliff Community Centre is location (Bow Cliff Seniors).
