Join us on Nov 14 in the Genesis Centre for a Circular City event!
Circular City is a collaboration between Repair Exchange and Calgary Dollars Markets - intended to encourage circular economy principles and behaviours!
At this event you can expect a FREE repair space, where you can bring in common household items and learn to fix them alongside one of our volunteer fixers!
Items that volunteers are prepared to help fix are:
Small household appliances (lamps, counter top appliances);
Bike tune ups (oil and cable adjustments);
Clothing repairs (sewing patches or holes);
Basic, zippers slider maintenance - NOT full zipper replacement.
Items and services that will not be accepted are large appliances, furniture or vehicle repairs, custom tailoring and hemming, full zipper replacements, items beyond fixers scope of repair, etc.
There will also be a Calgary Dollars Market, featuring a variety of local small businesses accepting Calgary Dollars towards purchases!
